Simpert Niggel label mid 18th century

This very interesting German violin was made in the mid-18th century. The violin has the Simpert Niggel label and reflects the time of the earliest violin making in Germany. In total there are 3 makers with the name Simpert Niggels in Füssen, who all lived between 1702 and 1774. The last of the Simpert Niggels is the most prominent.
By studing construction and age, this special violin is probably the work of one of these 3 Niggels. This is reflected in the character and construction of the instrument, which correspond to the builders.
The violin has a very careful finish with carefully cut F-holes. The maintenance of the violin is also in very good condition, despite the fact that the violin is authentically old. Unlike some old German violins, this violin has a lot of power and a deep, but clear sound. The color of the lacquer of the violin is very dark brown with a beautiful pattern incorporated in the vernish
